Women’s and Gender Studies 25th Anniversary Celebration at Providence College
Honoring our Past; Celebrating our Future!
There will be five panel discussions centering current and retired faculty (including Founding Program Director, Professor Emerita, Jane Lunin Perel and Former Program Director and Retired Professor, Dr. Mary Anne Sedney), alumni, current students, and PC community members. Panel foci will include: Founding and Long Standing Program Members Talk Women’s and Gender Studies Past, Present and Future; Feminisms after Graduation; Doing Intersectionality; Unpacking Me Too; and Student Leaders, Past and Present: Activism on and off Campus. There will also be campus tours, good food, and an energizing keynote address with Jamia Wilson, writer, commentator, activist, and newly appointed executive editor and publisher at the Feminist Press.
