NALP is pleased to announce a new training for first and second generation women of color on the basics of running for office. The program will provide concrete ways for women to start building their base, developing their profile, and identifying the right seat to run for.

The conference will open on Friday evening with a panel featuring New American women elected leaders speaking to their roles as trailblazers in building a multiracial democracy. Saturday’s agenda will include plenaries and a choice of skills-building workshops.
